Adventures in Costa Rica: Lessons from Pavones and We Are Launching Retreats!

Kara and I recently spent 10 days in Pavones, Costa Rica, with two of our four boys, soaking up the laid-back lifestyle, surfing, fishing, and enjoying the wildlife.

Traveling with kids isn’t always easy. Out of our four, two are pretty good at it, while the other two struggle with the lack of home comforts and the long travel times. Despite the challenges, we believe exposing them to different cultures helps them grow and see life beyond their usual box of Heinz ketchup and fast roads.

Costa Rica is special to us. The colors are brighter, the food tastes better, and everything feels more fulfilling. It's a place where the pace is slower, people help each other, and living in the moment comes naturally.

Inspired by our love for travel and the impact it has on our lives, we’ve decided to start running retreats. Our goal is to help others experience the same joy and growth we've found. These retreats, starting in the first quarter of 2025, will blend business coaching with fun adventures, helping participants break free from their comfort zones and live more fully.
