My biggest lesson of 2023!
Know who you serve and how you serve them. Do this one thing over and over again and you will find success.
This past Friday we had our team's annual planning meeting. Every year my team at NIKA gets together and we set our vision statement, create financial goals, audit the 6 areas of business, and create the calendar that we will run the year off of.
In previous years I would come to the meeting with some new ideas of things I wanted to do and how we were going to implement it.
This year I said something I have never said before.
We are changing nothing.
They were shocked.
Here is why we are not changing a thing.
We have found who we serve and how we serve them.
This year we are just going to get better and better at it!
So how did we do this?
We thought about the people who make us the happiest and who spend money at the business.
We then got narrow with our message of how we solve their problem.
Our marketing then began to reflect that only.
Our offer is the solution to their problem.
So here is your first step to figuring out who you serve and how you serve them.
Think about your favorite client and then ask yourself does that client spend money at my business?
If the answer is, yes.
Take them to coffee.
Ask them these 3 questions:
What is the biggest problem we solve for you?
How do we keep solving that problem over and over?
How did you find us?
Email me back with your favorite client’s name.
